This position under broad supervision of the Manager of Data Quality Management will implement and support enterprise data policies, standards, and processes. Monitor compliance of enterprise data policies across the organization to ensure high quality and available data within the organization. Engage in proactive development of continuous process improvement in the sustainability of data quality practices. This position performs data analysis, reporting, and requires exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and consistency of data stored in databases through analysis, data entry, writing, clear documentation and problem resolution. This position routinely interacts with internal and external customers to ensure the accurate and complete collection of end-to-end data flows.

Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide front-line support to the Data Management team 
  • Assist in testing and implementing new processes and procedures for the team
  • Assist and train the team in adopting and implementing processes and procedures
  • Regularly operate tools to enable the business to become more proactive with Data Management functions, such as reconciling data between disparate systems. Maintain regular update logs, highlighting any anomalies to manager
  • Foster relationships between Data Management and other teams within the business including Sales Executives, Sales Administrators, Customer Services and their Supervisors, Marketing and Supply Chain
  • Create and maintain documentation on all procedures implemented
  • Other duties and tasks may be assigned

Qualifications

Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:

  • Data reporting and analytics competencies (content knowledge)
  • Basic experience with office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Visio); highly skilled with Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Can lead meetings and teams in defining the tasks and the execution to achieve an objective
  • Excellent understanding and use of process mapping
  • Root cause analysis process experience 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong writing and documentation skills
  • Has an excellent process acumen to appreciate business process flows and data flows to perform data analysis and reporting 
  • Six Sigma/Lean knowledge and use of methods is a plus

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree with 5+ years of business experience and a minimum 3 years working in a technical or data quality management function in an ERP environment
  • Certified training in the use of Six Sigma and/or Lean methods is a plus
  • Prior use in business intelligence tools such Business Objects or reporting tools such as Crystal Reports is a plus

Physical Working Environment:

 

The position works in a climate controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
