Aviation Internal Sales Manager
Work directly with Aviation Sales to assist all aviation sales activities by performing the following duties personally or through liaison with other department personnel for all aviation related customers and stakeholders.
Assists sales personnel supporting sales initiatives and contract support to aviation OEMs, distributors, agents, airlines and all accounts constituting the "customers" on ACR Electronics ARTEX aviation products, prices, programs and promotions.
Serves as an alternate company point of contact for the customer, as well as liaison to the other departments within the company on behalf of the customer and sales force. Operates as an internal focal for travelling/off-site employees.
If required, travels throughout the area supporting sales activities and preparing documentation and reports to assist with the activities.
Research, cultivate and maintain lists of prospective airline customers, OEMs, distributors and related data required to report on sales activities. Supports inside reporting and presentations in a format defined by ARTEX sales.
Provides phone/email/in-person consultation and product knowledge inquiries to all ARTEX customers and ensures prompt escalation of Technical/Customer satisfaction issues to the appropriate internal stakeholders, including follow-up and closure of issues.
Assists sales personnel with reviewing and drafting of contracts, quotes, prices, terms and specifications, etc. for presentation to the customer within the guidelines established by management.
If required, represents company at trade association meetings to promote product. Organizes company exhibit in concert with appropriate company and trade personnel.
Submits travel expenses in a timely fashion on the company expense form.
Assists other departments and co-workers within the organization for inquiries from the sales area and provides input at the direction of the sales managers.
Provides customers with technical drawings, NDA, reports and supporting installation documentation within the policies and guidelines established by the company
Represents the ARTEX brand in a positive, efficient and knowledgeable manner validating the customer’s decision to purchase from the company.
Generally engage in activities that promote the sales of the product within the Area.
Associates degree or related experience. Minimum of 3+years’ experience in Aerospace or a related field a plus. Experience with sales presentations, documents and general correspondence. Computer literate (PC, Microsoft Office, presentation software, proficiency with CRM software, experience with MRP/ERP). Occasional national and international travel to support sales initiatives, meetings, and conferences up to 10% may be required.
