    ACR Electronics, Inc. is the leading development center for emergency beacons that are designed with one purpose in mind: Saving Lives.  Through our combined technology expertise in the marine, aviation, outdoor and military markets, we design and manufacture cutting edge rescue beacons and survival gear for boaters, pilots, hunters, hikers and combat troops, not to mention many of the leading boat builders and aircraft manufacturers in the industry.

    Working from a home office (preferably in the Houston, TX area), you will be responsible for all Commercial dealer and distributor sales in the Western USA and National Accounts, while providing leadership to our external sales force by supporting all sales related functions in the territory.

    Responsibilities

    • You will deliver top line sales by developing and executing Go-To Market Plans for the Western USA and National Accounts Market and implement best practice sales and account management.
    • You will be responsible for Sales Operations, working closely with S&OP Operations Team members to ensure accurate forecasting for the Western USA and Majors Marketplace, and communicate significant changes and initiate appropriate action plans to keep sales teams on track.
    • You will develop and facilitate product training for sales agencies and dealer sales teams to drive sell-through and brand equity.
    • You will support the Marketing Department in the coordination and management of all Corporate Trade and Consumer Shows in the Marketplace.

    Qualifications

    If you are a team leader and can accomplish the above, you've got what it takes! Realistically you will have a degree in Business, Marketing, or related area (or equivalent experience) supplemented by 5 years of progressive sales and sales management experience including management of a distributed North American sales teams and/or sales representatives. Specific industry knowledge or background in a similar industry selling a premium brand and/or technically differentiated product offering into the consumer channel is strongly preferred.
