The Senior Test Engineer will oversee the operation of the test laboratory including test policy/procedures, test execution, equipment maintenance, 5S practices, data archiving, and technician supervision as needed.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: ? Create comprehensive test systems the ensure PCBs are built and functioning correctly, testing for components of products that have issues, which ensure compliance with our long-term automated testing strategy ? Manage the identification and solution of issues uncovered during system verification testing and field trials ? Estimate work tasks to ensure delivery by agreed timescales ? Contribute to institutionalization of disciplines, processes & tools and ensures adherence to ACR product development and verification process ? Maintain and uses Doc Control as repository for releases and documentation as well as test plans, test procedures, and test scripts ? Develop and execute detailed system verification test plans and system verification test schedules for the new product introductions and product modifications ? Work with product development team to create and verify product requirement specifications where applicable. ? Works to ensure the factory test system is up and running at all times ? Other duties and tasks may be assigned
Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills: ? 5+ years related test systems experience ? Automated test experience for factory test (Labview) ? Testing experience with RF and PCBs ? Familiar with LabView ? Design tool experience (schematic capture/layout, ME SolidWorks) a plus ? This is a �hands on� position wich involves a high degree of team interation Education/Certifications: ? Bachelor�s degree in Electrical Engineering (would consider Mechanical Engineering with strong electrical engineering experience) required.
