  • Overview

    Supports the Marketing, Product Management and Supply chain team on a wide range of activities from basic administrative support to in-depth marketing related activities.

    Responsibilities

    Product Management / Marketing (85%)

    • Provides project management support on marketing communications initiatives involving creation and distribution of product-marketing materials in print and electronic format.
    • Basic knowledge and understanding of principles behind marketing programs and product development efforts that lead to new product introductions and product management maintenance tasks.
    • Support trade show scheduling and execution; onsite support and company representation at trade shows as needed.
    • Attends regular product knowledge meetings with team members as needed
    • Design and develop professional Power Point presentations for Sr. Management.
    • Ability to understand marketing department objectives and contribute creative input for execution.
    • Excellent skills for organizing data (print and electronic), scheduling and sustaining departmental delivery of objectives based on due dates (project management).
    • Perform other special projects as assigned.

     

    Business Administration (15%)

    • Supports the marketing and product management department in managing departmental expenses.
      • Prepare general and travel expense vouchers as needed.
    • Assists and supports VP, Marketing, Product Management and Supply Chain with domestic and international travel arrangements.
    • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

    • Organized, thorough and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

    Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing (or related field) or equivalent work experience
    • Solutions-oriented. (Tenacious with an issue until it is resolved completely)
    • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a high level of motivation;
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong proofreading capabilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Enjoys learning and drives for continuous self-improvement by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel) required.
